  • Key identification features : A small evergreen tree of irregular growth; bark thin, whitish, mealy, branchlets white. Leaves imparipinnate; shortly and bluntly acuminate, base sometimes unequal, dark green and glossy. Flowers Bell-shaped, fragrant, stamina 10. Berry ovoid, shining red when ripe.
