  • Comments / notes : Easily recognised by Its handsome, dark green, tufted leaves. The wood of the stem is hard and used by the Andamanese for making pig arrows.
  • Key identification features : A climber with twisted dark-coloured stem and often with circinately hooked branchlet. Flower pink and white; lobes of fruiting calyx three 1.50-1.75 in. long, and two shorter.
