  • Key identification features : Rhizome slender, creeping, 3–7 mm thick, ligule entire, 3–5 mm, coriaceous, glabrous with margin ciliate, apex rounded. Capsules 1 to 3 per spike, 3-lobed, maroon and rugose to muricate.
