  • Key identification features : A small tree with rounded branchlets. Leaves opposite, oblong or oblong-lanceolate, shortly and bluntish acuminate, entire glabrous and coriaceous, with 5-6 pairs of lateral nerves. Flowers small, greenish-white, in axillary or extra-axillary cymes; petals and stamens 4. Capsule with red seed in each cell.
