  • Key identification features : A small tree, branchlets and young parts fulvous-hirsute. Leaves elliptic or elliptic-oblong. Male fl: peduncles axillary, 1-3-flowered. Female fl: solitary, arranged at the ends of the branches in the axils of the leaves. Fruit ovoid-conical, clothed with fulvous stinging hairs, supported by the persistent deflexed non-accrescent calyx-lobes. Seeds 4; endosperm not ruminate
