- Key identification features : Evergreen trees. Branchlets fulvous-pubescent, leaves coriaceous, reddish-glaucous beneath, shining above, petiole to 1 cm long, truncate at base, margin entire, obtuse or retuse at apex, lateral nerves 6-9 pairs, secondary nerves distinct, subparallel, glabrous or glabrescent. Inflorescence in axillary and terminal panicles, fulvous-pubescent, spreading, 9 cm long. Stamens of 3rd row with produced connectives. Young fruits ellipsoid.
