  • Comments / notes : Easily known by its Leaves, flowers, or fruits.
  • Key identification features : A shrub. Leaves 5-9 in. long, 1.50-3 in. broad, elliptic to oblong or oblanceolate, shortly acuminate or acute, base unequally rounded, glabrous, dark green above, glaucous beneath; lateral nerves 8-9 pairs, petiole short. Flowers 1.50-3 in. long, pale yellow, on stalks 1-2 in. long; petals fleshy, lanceolate. Carpels many, radiating from the base, linear and constricted between the seeds.
