  • Comments / notes : The area of occupancy is estimated to be less than 10 km2 and is severely fragmented, known to exist only in a single location. Forest fire and encroachment are the major threats to the population, which might cause damage to the existing population. The number of individuals in this area is around 100.
  • Key identification features : Leaves are chartaceous, glabrous and shining above, lateral nerves are 4–6 in number and they are distantly placed, long peduncle, pedicel is slender, 3.5–5 cm in length, straight and sparsely stellate-pubescent. Fruits are beaked, pentangular and ovoid-oblong in shape.
