  • Comments / notes : Often on hills of higher altitudes above 1200m, in open grasslands, on shola floor, in humus.
  • Key identification features : A mini-miniature to to small sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial with ovoid tubers giving rise to an erect stem carrying usually 2, ovate, acuminate, cordate leaves with the upper smaller and not cordate and placed just below the flower that blooms in the summer on an erect, terminal, 1 to 2 successively flowered inflorescence.
