  • Key identification features : Stem ca. 28 cm tall, puberulent and yellowish glandular puberulent, simple. Leaf blade 8--10 cm wide, base cordate; primary lobes separate for less than 60% of blade radius; central lobe flabellate-obovate, 3-lobulate, distally few dentate, apex acute; ultimate lobules ovate; proximal leaves usually withered. Raceme 4--13 cm, 4--6-flowered, puberulent and yellowish glandular puberulent; bracts leaflike or lanceolate. Pedicels 2.8--6.8 cm; bracteoles distal, oblong-lanceolate, 1--1.8 cm. Sepals blue, abaxially puberulent; spur conic or saccate, 5--6 mm, base 6--7 mm in diam.; other sepals ca. 2 cm. Petals 2-lobed, glabrous, sometimes not black-brown. Staminode limb narrowly elliptic, 2-cleft, yellow barbate. Filaments pilose or glabrous. Carpels (3--)5(--10); ovaries puberulent.
