  • Comments / notes : Cymbopogon gidarba occurs on uplands in India. It has a narrower, more contracted compound panicle and shorter, 2–2.5 mm, narrowly elliptic spatheoles, with the peduncle not or only very shortly exserted from near the middle of the spatheole. The spikelets are also slightly smaller, with the sessile spikelet 3.2–4 mm.
