  • Comments / notes : It is distinct from C. sharmae for the absence of root tubers; broadly lanceolate leaves with entire margins; pedicel articulation close to flower; obtuse anther apex and glabrous stigma.
  • Key identification features : Filaments are 4–5 mm long which are longer than the anthers, perigone segments are 6 in number, arranged in two whorls of 3 in each, recurved, outer perigone segments are 5-nerved & inner perigone segments are 3-nerved and both are elliptic-lanceolatous, glabrous, white in coclour, margins are hyaline & obtuse at apex. Pedicel articulation is close to flower, articulation of upper part of pedicel is 1–1.5 mm & articulation of pedicel below is , 1.2–1.25 cm in length respectively.
