  • Key identification features : Large, woody shrubs or small trees, aromatic, densely silky, villous or tomentose; Leaves oblong-Ianceolate to oblong-obovate, serrulate, appendiculate, upper surfaces pilose, lower silky woolly; Heads sessile, small, in lax panicles, whitish yellow; Achenes ribbed with red pappus.
