  • Key identification features : A slender twiner, shoots glabrous. Flowers: greenish-white, very small, nearly sessile in small umbels at ends of branches of long-stalked, axillary umbels; bracts subulate. Fruit: scarlet, solitary, sessile, small, ⅓ in., compressed, glabrous.
