  • Comments / notes : It is allied to Tephrosia villosa Pers. But is having unequal calyx lobes and almost straight pods. It is also allied to Tephrosia noctifloura Baker. But differs from it in size and shape of leaflets.
  • Key identification features : Leaflets having midvein prominent on ventral surface, covered by short, siff, erect yellowish hairs all over; lateral veins prominent on upper surface. Inflorescence of axillary and terminal racemes. Vexillum velvetty-hairy all over outside
