  • Key identification features : Usually forming large gregarious clumps 1-1.5 m high, with green stems, large pinnate leaves, and with terminal flat-topped clusters of very numerous tiny white or cream flowers. Inflorescence 5-10 cm across, enlarging to 25 cm in fruit, with 3-5 primary branches which are further irregularly branched. Flowers c. 3 mm across; corolla with 5 spreading blunt lobes and a very short tube; stamens exserted. Leaves 15-30 cm; leaflets 5-9, lanceolate often long-pointed, 5-20 cm, sharply toothed; stipules leaf-like, toothed. Fruit globular 4-5 mm, orange or red, then Turning black
