  • Key identification features : Trees to 25 m tall, deciduous. Branchlets yellowish gray pilose or pubescent, glabrescent. Petiole 0.5-1 cm, grayish brown shaggy; leaf blade obovate to obovate-elliptic. Nut ellipsoid to ovoid-ellipsoid, 1.5-2 × 0.8-1.2 cm; scar ca. 6 mm in diam., slightly raised; stylopodium ca. 1 mm in diam.
