  • Key identification features : Herbs to undershrubs, 1 - 1.5 m tall densely cinriamomeus woolly. Leaves 4; basal in rosette; upper alternate, ovate, lanceolate, base broadly stem clasping, surfaces densely brownish yellow, woolly, 5-nerved, sessile. Heads, forming dense terminal corymbs. Involucral bracts pale yellow; up to 4-seriate; outermost oblong with expanded, ovate tip; inner narrowly oblong. Ray florets with filiform corolla, ca 2.3 mm long, 4-lobed. Disc florets ca 2.4 mm long, 5-toothed. Pappus hairs white, minutely bristly.
