  • Comments / notes : Lithophyte on fully shaded forest floor along stream banks
  • Key identification features : Rhizome short creeping or prostrate, densely covered by ovate to ovate-lanceolate scales all over. Stipes are crowded, dark brown abaxially, green adaxially when fresh, rounded below, grooved above, densely or sparsely covered by pale brown, fimbriate scales. Lamina oblong-lanceolate, apex acuminate, simply pinnate; usually rooting by apical bud formed below the costa of the terminal pinna; pinnae about 15 pairs, spreading, shortly stalked; pinnae dark green, glabrous above and below, texture chartaceous. Sori linear along basal part of acroscopic veinlet forming two oblique rows along the costa; indusia yellowish-green when young, entire, glabrous; spores ellipsoid or spherical.
