  • Key identification features : Rhizome is erect and densely covered by lanceolate scales at the apex. Stipes are tufted, numerous, pale brown at the base and stramineous above, scaly at the base and glabrous above. Lamina lanceolate, bipinnatifid; pinnae upto 12 pairs; pinnae pale green, texture subcoriaceous; small pinnule borne at the base of each costule. Sori borne all along the margin except at the base of the sinus and at the apex of the lobe; spores dark brown.
