  • Key identification features : A stout shrub; spines supra-axillary, straight. Leaves ovate to elliptic, acute or acuminate at apex. Flowers small, greenish-yellow. Corolla-tube short; lobes ovate, acute. Drupe obcordate, 1 cm in diam, yellow when ripe.
