Comments / notes : Gamble (l.c) reports its occurrence from Kadapa hills, but this was reported neither by Ellis (1987) nor by Madusudana Rao (1989) during their Floristic Studies on Kadapa district. There is one old collection (MH, 19843) from Kadapa hills without name, date and exact locality. This finding indicates that the above collections might be from Seshachalam hills which combines both Kadapa and Chittoor districts
