  • Comments / notes : Occasional on plains to 1100m, in scrub jungles, deciduous forests and road clearings on thickets and bushes. A ready colonizer.
  • Key identification features : An evergreen woody twiner with milky sap. Leaves are elliptic-oblong or lance-shaped, tip pointed or tapering, dark green above, and paler beneath. Flowers are borne in many flowered clusters. Flowers are small with wheel-shaped spreading hairy petals, about 1 cm. across. Fruit is a follicle, solitary or paired.
