  • Comments / notes : This species seems to exhibit two leaf forms. The low elevation form shows oblong elliptic lanceolate leaves and is seen at elevations of up to 1200 m in Kodagu and Wayanad. The high elevation form is seen at 1500-2200 m in shola forests of Nilgiris and Megamalai hills and shows more ovate orbicular and glaucous leaves.
