Comments / notes : At elevations 400-1200 m.
Key identification features : A large tree of evergreen and Semi-evergreen forests in low altitude forests. Leaves are simple, obovate, or oblanceolate, up to 10 cm long, leathery with a pair of deciduous spurs on the petiole; main nerves are 16-20 pairs. Inflorescence is a panicle with a pale golden brown tomentum. Fruit is an elliposoidal drupe, pedicelled, almost entirely included in the torus.
