  • Key identification features : Thorny tree, with comparatively large leaves. Stipular thorns large, ivory white, often hallow. Young branches pubescent, stipular spines prominent; gland just below the first pair of pinna. Flower heads in racemes. Pods thin, flat, curved in a hook, glabrous 5 - 10 seeded.
