  • Key identification features : Dark browinsh-black smooth bark. Leaves oblanceolate, obtuse at apex, truncate to sub-cordate at base, glabrous. Lateral nerves 7-9 pairs. Petiole channeled. Flowers glabrous. Calyx lobes 5, triangular ovate, margins serrate and cilliate. Filaments dilated at the base.
