  • Key identification features : Trees, 10-15 m tall. Leaves 2-pinnate, pinnae subopposite, terminal odd pinnule is larger than paired. Inflorescences of lax panicles. Flowers blue; calyx 5 toothed; corolla lip 2-lipped; stamens 4, didynamous. Capsules orbicular, seeds winged.
