  • Key identification features : A large woody straggling shrub or a tree. Leaves are palmately compound; leaflets elliptic lanceolate, upto 20cm long, 8 cm wide and prominentely-veined above. Inflorescence is an umbel with flowers crowded more towards the apex.Flowers are 5-merous. Stamens are incurved in the bud. Ovary is inferior and is crowned by a two-lobed disk, styles 2,dilated at the base. Fruit is a schizocarp.
