  • Key identification features : A weak, glabrous herb, often perennating by solitary ovoid tubers. Stem is hispid with triangular-ovate leaves. Radical leaves several. Leaves are triangular-ovate. Inflorescence in terminal or lateral compound umbels. Involucre of about 2-5 hispid bracteoles. Flowers are unequal, reduced calyx teeth. Petals subequal with an ellipsoid schizocarp, dorsally compressed. Lateral ribs with narrow wings.
