  • Key identification features : A prostrate, hairy herb with ascending branches. Leaves are alternate, compound with 3 leaflets. Flowers are small (about 1 cm), in axillary or terminal condensed inflorescence. Fruit is a compressed pod with a hook at the apex, jointed, with persistent style. Seeds are compressed.
