  • Key identification features : A large, prolific, unarmed, woody climber. Leaves are pinnately compound, the ultimate pinnae being tendrillar. Flowers are tiny (less than 0.5 cm long) in long narrow spikes with exserted stamens. Pods are broad, flat, woody and long (up to 5 ft) consisting of many discoid, one-seeded joints.
