- Key identification features : A large evergreen tree. Bark is grey with darker patches and irregular cracks. Leaves are twice compound, alternate with a swollen leaf base. Flowers are minute, fragrant, with a slender, long, exserted stamens and aggregated into compact head. Inflorescence are borne terminally on highly branched axis. Pods are thin, brownish.
