  • Key identification features : Shrubs of small trees, armed with prominent spines. Branchlets are glabrous. Leaves upto 3 cm long, petiloe gland near the middle. Pinnae with 2-4 pairs with leaflets 8-12 pairs, ciliate along margin to about 4 mm long. Corolla yellow, about 5 times longer than the calyx. Pod is flat, slightly bent, dehiscent and subacute at apex.
