  • Key identification features : Diffuse herbs with puberulous stem and long internodes. Leaves slightly pubescent, with rounded base. Bracts with glandular hairs and short stalk. Flowers in spikes with long calyx and segments pubescent, lanceolate. Corolla long, narrowly infundibuliform, upper lip strongly nerved ovate-oblong purple spotted. Capsules oblong, pointed. Seeds densely clothed with somewhat triangular acute tubercles.
