- Key identification features : A very bushy shrub with many branches. Leaves are large elliptic to lanceolate in shape, dark green in colour above and pale green underneath. Flowers are in short, dense clusters. Corolla with short tube and spreading lobes. Fruits are oblong, slightly pointed capsules.

- Comments : Found on roadsides, or in cultivation. Leaf extract is considered a remedy for asthma in folk medicine. Leaves are not broused by goat and sheep.
