  • Key identification features : A subscandent herb with diffuse branches, creeping and rooting below. Leaves are ovate or oblong, obtuse, hairy on both surfaces. Flowers are small (1.5-2 cm). Fruit is a capsule.

  • Comments : Common in moist places up to 1000 m or more, in sheltered rocks, scrub and wayside puddles.
