  • Key identification features : An unarmed climbing shrub. Leaves are simple, elliptic to ovate or obovate with crenate-serrate margin. Flowers are yellowish-green or white, unisexual and occur in pyramidal panicles of 2-6 inches. Fruit is a globose, bright yellow septicidal capsule. Seeds are enclosed ina fleshy scarlet aril.
