  • Key identification features : A moderate-sized deciduous aromatic unarmed tree with green papery bark turning brown and peels off into thin flakes. Leaves smell like mango leaves upon crushing. Leaves are imparipinnate, compound with 2-5 pairs of leaflets which is glabrous, ovate or orbicular. Flowers are small, many, in long peduncled dichasial cymes up to 5 inches long. Petals-4, inserted on or under the margin of the disk; stamens 8-10, alternately long and short. Fruit a drupe.
