Key identification features : A very bushy shrub with many branches. Leaves are large elliptic to lanceolate in shape, dark green in colour above and pale green underneath. Flowers are in short, dense clusters. Corolla with short tube and spreading lobes. Fruits are oblong, slightly pointed capsules.

Comments : Often in plains to 1000 m. Sometimes planted along fences up to 750 m.
