  • Key identification features : A medium-sized tree with a short crooked trunk. Bark silver-grey and fissured. Leaves are simple, ovate-orbicular. Flowers are small (less than 1 cm), white, fragrant and are borne on small branched cymes. Fruits are pink when ripe with a viscid sweetish transparent pulp surrounding a central hard part.
