  • Key identification features : Slender erect herbs, root tuberous, stem glabrous. Leaves chartaceous, linear, glabrous, apex and base acute, margin entire. Flowers solitary, axillary; corolla 4-5 cm long, tube sub-cylindric, hairy within above from orbicular base with corolla lobes five, spirally twisted, glandular hairy; corona biseriate, outer bifid, deltoid lobes. Follices very slender, about 12.5 cm long. Seeds comose.
