• Key identification features : Small prostrate herbs. Branches pink; stems numerous from woody rootstock. Leaves dimorphic, larger ones elliptic-oblong on the main branches and smaller ones on flowering branch. Stipular glands are present at the nodes, sessile, oval and pinkish. Cyathia solitary and axillary. Involucral lobes 5; glands 4, shortly stalked. Capsule is sub-globose. Seeds quadrangular, sub-ovoid to oblong, transversely 4-furrowed.
