  • Key identification features : An unarmed subshrub. Leaves are simple, unequally paired. Inflorescence is 1-10-flowered fascicle in leaf axils. Flowers are actinomorphic, 5-merous and pedicellate. Calyx is cup-shaped, Corolla white, rotate or stellate, shallowly or deeply divided. Fruit is globose, orangish. Seeds are small and numerous.
