  • Key identification features : An erect, branched herb. Leaves are sessile, linear-oblong, obtuse at apex. Flowers are blue in terminal or axillary racemes. Capsule is linear and long.

  • Comments : On plains to the floor of scrub jungles up to 1000 m. Some higher altitude specimens are much smaller.
