  • Key identification features : A large evergreen shrub or a small tree. Leaves are alternate, pinnately compound with a characteristic aroma. Flowers are in dense clusters, both axillary and terminal, up to 1.5 cm across. Fruit is an ovoid, 1 cm long, one to two-seeded berry.
