  • Key identification features : An evergreen small tree. Bark is dark green to brownish that can be peeled off longitudinally. Leaves are compound. Inflorescence is a bunch of 60-90 small flowers (1 cm across), which are mildly fragrant. Fruit is globose to oblong, of about 1.4 cm dia, pulpy and deep purple or black and shiny when ripe.
