  • Key identification features : A large evergreen shrub. Leaves are with interpetiolar stipule. Flowers are in aggregated peduncles, white and fragrant. Drupe is greenish and turns reddish when ripe. Seeds are light brown to yellowish when young and releasing strong aroma when heated/roasted.
