- Key identification features : An unarmed shrub or a small evergreen tree with smooth branches. Leaves are coriaceous, ovate to ovate-lanceolate or sub-orbicular, margin entire, petiolate. Flowers are 5-merous, in axillary short-peduncled cymes, greenish white. Drupe is globose and black.
