  • Key identification features : Scandent shrub with forked spines. Leaves elliptic-ovate, apex acute or mucronate. Flowers are white or slightly rose-coloured, scented, in few-flowered terminal or axillary cymes. corolla thinly pubescent. Berry globose, about0.8 cm across, pointed, 4-seeded, black-purple when ripe.
